WARNING: MAY CAUSE TEARS OF JOY

“So good I could cry!!” Actual words after an actual person’s first taste.

Here’s what we suggest for getting the most out of your first pack. (And don’t be surprised if you shed a few tears yourself!)

THE FLAVOR HITS JUST RIGHT

There’s just nothing quite like bacon, right? Wrong! Mycelium does a dang good job of filling those big shoes. That said, the first way to enjoy MyBacon is straight out of the pan.

Cook two slices and get ready for the salty, sweet, and savory flavor party. The key is to cook it really well. Not burnt, but browned and bubbly. Crispy!

Pick up a piece. If it’s straight, it’s done. If it’s floppy, keep cooking until it “planks.”

STRETCH IT OUT, MAKE IT COUNT

When you’re watching your spending, a pack of meatless bacon feels like an indulgent snack. Instead, think of it like a magic wand, capable of casting the most delicious spell over your standard meal repertoire.

THE MEATLESS MAGIC TOUCH

A little MyBacon can go a long, long way. The trick? Playing the garnish game.

Cook up a few slices ‘til they’re good and crispy, then chop into bite-size squares.

Now, get ready to transform your food!

  • Boring ‘ol pasta and sauce becomes MyBacon Pasta Cabonara.

  • Nothing-but-cheese pizza becomes a Meat(less)-lover’s special.

  • The same ‘ol soup becomes a brand new cup of yum.

  • A super simple salad becomes a sudden gourmet garden.

Once you get a sense for the flavor, the ideas are gonna roll!

Sub MyBacon wherever you’d use pork bacon, and celebrate. Because you’ve finally found a delicious means to the meat you’ve been missing!

This Creamy Baked Mac Recipe is one of our favorite ways to use MyBacon. So is this recipe for Maple Pecan Roasted Brussel Sprouts.

FRESH FOR THE WIN

MyBacon is real, farm-grown food. Grown fresh, and meant to be enjoyed fresh—just like food should be!

Keep tabs on your pack’s expiration date. It doesn’t last forever. It DOES last about 40 days after its packaged, which is pretty great for farm fresh food!

FIND IT FAST

MyBacon is now available in seven states! If you find it in yours, it’s always a good idea to check with the store and make sure it’s in stock. Because when you’re a product this delish, you don’t stay on the shelf for long. 🙂

Not in MyBacon range? So sad. But keep your chin up; we’re expanding. Yes, it takes time. But like we always say: it’s worth the wait!

Stay in tune on instagram and sign up for our emails so you know when we cross new terrain.

Cheers, foodie!
